The Ultimate Guide to the Football Capital of London
A football weekend in London is always attractive, but how do you choose from all the great options? SANTOS will help you with our comprehensive guide to twelve glorious stadiums (and more to come).
Twelve Stadiums (and counting)
Corona and Brexit have not made it easier, but London is still absolutely the football capital of Europe. With a minimum of twelve professional clubs (depending on how far you stretch the city limits) and a number of relatively undiscovered gems, the British capital is never boring.
There are plenty of ways to get there additionally. You can fly the old-fashioned way, or cheaply by boat, but the Eurostar train (directly from Rotterdam these days) is also very pleasant. A ride by car is also very attractive, via the Eurotunnel, especially if you in France or Belgium.
Below we have handy guides to twelve London stadiums for you, complete with practical tips, perfect pubs and great recommendations.
Note: smaller clubs such as Barnet, Dulwich Hamlet, Welling United, Dartford, Dagenham & Redbridge and Woking are also very worthwhile. Not to mention Watford and Luton Town (just off the M25). Keep following us because we will also add these gems to our online football travel guide.

Brentford: Still a pearl after Griffin Park
Fulham, the ideal entry point
The characteristic stadium, the location on the Thames and the accessibility of the club: Fulham has everything. An ideal entry point for every 'beginner' in London.

West Ham United: There is life after Upton Park
It took some getting used to in the so-called London Stadium, formerly the Olympic stadium of the city. But West Ham United are slowly coming to life in Stratford (although you must also go to Upton Park).
NORTH LONDON
Arsenal, Classic in a modern way
Tottenham Hotspur: A Crushing Noise
White Hart Lane was considered an absolute classic, but there was something beautiful in return. Even a cold-hearted romantic would have to admit that the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is smashing in every way.
